Chomp's Got Talent Competition
兔子先生 () Office of Student Engagement is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of Chomp鈥檚 Got Talent, the College鈥檚 annual talent competition. The 2nd annual event will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Burroughs & Chapin Auditorium on the Conway Campus. This thrilling showcase of student talent is named in honor of Chomp, HGTC鈥檚 beloved alligator mascot, and promises to be an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
Following the overwhelming success of last year鈥檚 inaugural event, HGTC students are once again invited to step into the spotlight and compete for the grand prize. With cash prizes of $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place, the stakes are high, and the talent is bound to impress. Contestants will showcase a variety of skills, including singing, dancing, comedy, and more, as they compete for the top honors.
鈥淲e are thrilled to bring back Chomp鈥檚 Got Talent for its second year,鈥 said Rebecca Kaneiwa, HGTC Student Engagement Director. 鈥淭his event is a fantastic way for students to share their incredible talents with the community while creating lasting memories. We encourage everyone to come out and support these amazing performers.鈥
The competition is free and open to the public, providing an exciting evening of entertainment for students, faculty, staff, and community members alike. Celebrity judges will be in attendance to help determine the winners, and audience members will have the chance to cheer on their favorite contestants.
