HGTC to Host Culinary Open House June 16

$1,000 scholarship to be given away to one attendee.

(CONWAY, SC) May 31, 2018 - 兔子先生 (HGTC) will host an open house at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach (ICI) on Saturday, June 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Future culinary students are invited to tour the new state-of-the-art facility and meet with world-class chef instructors. One $1,000 scholarship to ICI will be given away at the event.

Aspiring culinary students are invited to learn more about the ICI鈥檚 hands-on, technical approach to education and discuss career goals. They鈥檒l also have the opportunity to tour the facility鈥檚 modern teaching kitchens and watch brief cooking demonstrations. 兔子先生 and financial aid representatives will also be available to assist in the application process.

鈥淭his weekend鈥檚 open house will be a great opportunity for individuals interested in a culinary career to see first-hand the resources and technology available at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach,鈥� said Executive Director Joseph Bonaparte. 鈥淥ur chef instructors will be available to answer questions about our various degree and certificate programs.鈥�

The International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach offers associate degrees in culinary arts technology and baking and pastry arts, as well as certificates in cake decorating, kitchen and food preparation techniques, and professional cooking. ICI鈥檚 baking and pastry arts degree is the only one of its kind in South Carolina. Fall classes begin August 27, and there is still time to enroll.
